Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 3 lbs Yukon gold or Russet Potatoes peeled and cubed
- 4-5 cloves garlic minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp salt adjust to taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper adjust to taste
Directions
1. Add peeled and cubed potatoes to a pot and cover with cold water.
2. Add minced garlic and a pinch of salt.
3. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are fork-tender (about 12–15 minutes).
4. Drain well and return potatoes to the pot.
5. Add butter, milk/cream, salt, and pepper.
6. Mash to your desired consistency and adjust seasoning if needed.
